Thus, the Cham people had been settling in central Vietnam for a long time and they followed Hinduism. In order to have a place for them to conduct religious services, they built My Son Sanctuary as the place for worship.

Accordingly, the Cham built this holy site in the dense jungle forest. In total, there were around 70 temples dedicated to the Cham Kings.Therefore, My Son was divided into several groups including group A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H…

Each group in My Son had the main temple where the Cham people worshipped a set of Linga and Yoni, symbol of fertility. Besides, the group had many more of temples around to play different functions like water storage, gate temple, house of meditation…

Moreover, the technique to build up all temples in My Son has been mysterious. The people today try to find special glue that stick all bricks together in My Son.

In 1999, My Son listed as World Cultural Heritage.

Upon reaching My Son, we will get inside by golf cart and then wander off the site to visit amazing Hindu temples. We respectively pay a visit to group B, C, B and then group G, E, F. Through the guide, you will know more the talent and skills as well as the culture of the Cham people.

Day 3: Ba Na Hills Full Day Tour

So, Ba Na Hills is the summer resort of the French in the 19th century. Lying at the peak of 1470m from sea level, Ba Na Hills becomes the highest point in Da Nang city. It is the site where there is pleasant and perfect weather as well as for you to have a full view of the region.

Upon reaching Ba Na Hills, we will take the cable car to go to Golden Hands Bridge – the symbol of Ba Na Hills. You will take a walk and take various pictures with this stunning symbol.

Arriving in Hue, we then visit Hue Citadel, a forge for Nguyen Royal family in the old times. Therefore, we will wander off around and sightseeing Imperial City gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Royal Theatre, Truong Sinh Residence…Through this walking, you will find more interesting of royal life in Vietnam along with special architectures that they used for the buildings.

Built in 1931 with a strong influence of the French architecture, Khai Dinh tomb is the smallest tomb in Hue but it contains a featured architectural style complex. From a distance, the tomb looks like a pretty castle lying in the middle of a pine forest.

Upon coming here, we will walk up many stairs and look up the Honor Courtyard with statues of Vietnamese mandarins on both sides. Next, we go inside Khai Thanh Palace to admire amazing architectures. So, four corners of the walls are decorated with 4 seasons and filled with mosaics from color glass and porcelin from Japan and China.

Besides, this palace has hundreds of dragon decorations that symbolize for the power of the Emperor.

Day 5: Departure Flight home
