General

As you know, My Son Sanctuary was the former holy site of the Champa people in Vietnam. They usually came to My Son once a year in the old days and gave lots of offerings to Hindu Gods and the Champa people prayed for best wishes.

My Son Sanctuary was then discovered by the French people and divided into several groups of A, A’, B, C, D, G, E, F and H. Though the war heavily devastated the site in 1968 but many Hindu Temples still remained intact. Because of the cultural exchange between many civilizations and unique Cham culture as well as special Hindu Temple structures, My Son designated as World Heritage Site on December 4th, 1999.

In order to help you discover My Son Sanctuary by boat trip, Premium Travel Vietnam organize My Son Tour with Boat Trip.
